Storyline

A hidden communist cell and two young Jewish girls who risk everything to survive. Imre, the brilliant mathematician-philosopher, a cold manipulator, is not afraid to play with fire. Éva, the naive girl, flees World War II and the gendarmes with her sister Mária in 1944, but they quickly realize that the real danger is Imre and his housekeeper Eszter.
